| Ok, so it's time for my monthly (apparently) entry! Casting finally went up for our spring show (The last weekend in May!!!) I am cast in Eight easy pieces, a ballet by Peter Martins (Artistic director of New York City Ballet), Giselle (Second act), and Shubert (I don't know the actual name of the piece, that's just what we all call it ) by Robert Steele.
Life here has been interesting... I like where I am, and what I'm doing, but I often catch myself thinking about what it would be like if I had stayed in State College this year, gone to State High, stopped dancing,.....What ifs
Something I DO know is how excited I am for this summer! I will be home for the first two weeks in June (party, party, yay, yay!) Then off to ABT (American Ballet Theatre) in New York City for six weeks! After ABT is over, I will be back in State College for the entire month of August!!! I am planning on working while I am home, but I should still have plenty of time to hang out and just relax with friends! Ahhh...I cannot wait
OH MY!!! I can't forget... BEFORE all this happens, I'LL BE IN ITALY!
Yes, you State Collegians may have seen the article in the CDT about the Suzuki string group going to Italy to perform in an International arts festival there....I'm going too! This will be my first plane ride, ever! I'm so excited! I'm going to drive home to State College either April 8th, or 9th. Then, on the morning of the 10th, we will take a Fullington bus to Newark, NJ, where we will fly to Rome! We leave NJ at 5:10pm, and get to Rome at 7:30 am, so it'll be fun to have gone through over half a day in less than 8 hours
Well, I'm having fun with this! But, unfortunately I have rehearsal in about an hour Sunday rehearsals....not always the most fun
I hope to be posting more soon!
